Key features: Revenues are up, GF ahead of budget, $500,000 for the salt dome has been received from the State of MN, a fixed income analysis has been provided, noting an updated investment policy to allow for diversification and additional investment options. • Item 5B: Legislative session has started today, a written summary has been included in the meeting packet. • Item 6A: Trail feasibility: Tyler Yngsdal will be presenting on the feasibility to consider the trail route through town from Boundary Ave to Kirkus St. This route has been selected as the preferred route for this segment, eventually connecting with the Munger Trail. Approval of this feasibility study and trail construction will allow for submittal of local and regional DNR grant applications. Multiple routes through Proctor have been considered, with the proposed route being selected as the most efficient connection for parks and recreational areas within the city. • Proctor/ Hermantown have been a part of the regional trail master plan with ongoing discussions of connecting to the regional trail system. • Councilor Pederson would like to consider fair contracting/ Project Labor agreements as a future agenda item.
