Projected opening spring of 2028. Tim has worked with the softball association regarding their field. 10. Action Items (Items for Individual Action) a. Finance Director’s Report and Approval of Treasurer’s Report MOTION: Moved by Lynn Peterson and seconded by Tammy Sundbom to approve the payment of bills dated April 27, 2026, in the amount of $162,559.93 covering checks 126640 through 126698, and all ACH transfers; payment of bills dated May 4, 2026, in the amount of $104,466.87 covering checks 126699 through 126746, and all ACH transfers; and approve the electronic transfers and payrolls for April 2026 as submitted. Motion approved by unanimous vote. b. Items that Require Board Approval i. Approved the proposed Community Education wage increases for direct student support services staff for school years 2025-2026 and 2026-2027. This new agreement includes a 2.5% increase in year one and a 2.25% increase in year two. MOTION: Moved by Lynn Peterson and seconded by Jennifer McDonald to approve the proposed Community Education wage increases for direct student support services staff for school years 2025-2026 and 2026-2027. Elementary sites will retain their scheduled teacher workday, and the secondary site will have a half-day teacher workday in the afternoon. MOTION: Moved by Larry Shelton and seconded by Lynn Peterson to approve a recommendation from Superintendent Tim Rohweder and the administrative team to amend the 2025–2026 calendar by designating June 3, 2026, as a half-day morning student contact day at the secondary site only to recover instructional time lost due to the January 28, 2026, water emergency closure.
