Mirage State Class A Girls Hockey Consolation Champions

The Proctor-Hermantown Girls Hockey team saw their season end with a win over the Willmar Cardinal 5-1.  The victory gave the Mirage the


The Mirage took control early on Saturday morning at The TRIA Rink in downtown St. Paul.  In the first period they scored three unanswered goals.


The Mirage opened up period number two with another goal at 4:44. The Willmar Cardinals would finally find the back of the net with a powerplay goal at 6:04.  They would tighten things up with an unassisted goal at 9:59.


The Mirage would head to the locker room at the end of the second period leading 4-2. In the third period the Mirage scored once again at 2:39 making the final score 5-2.


The Mirage had 43 shots on goal.  They end the season with a 29-2 record.


With the loss the Cardinals finish the year with a 21-9-0 record.
